First card is an unused chrome of a Hershey's Mr. Goodbar. It is a bit longer and narrower than a regular card, so it resembles the shape of the candy bar. SOLD Next is an old unused black and white Private Mailing Card of J.M. Heinold's First and Last Chance, an Oakland, California, bar made famous by Jack London. SOLD Last is a vintage postcard showing "High Fliers in Florida," a group of bathing beauties posing with the pilot on the wings of an old airplane. It is postally used, but I can't find a year. It is worn and soiled, but still an unusual card. SOLD

It is of the Williamsburg Bridge and is by Souvenir Post Card Co., N.Y., No.22, Pat. Allowed. It is a Reproducing Post Card with directions underneath. I think the back is missing, and the corners are bent. There is some soil to the front. Price is $.75 as is because it is an interesting idea. Postage for either or both of these cards is $.41. Here is an opportunity to add postcards to your collection at a low price. There will be a few duplicates in the batch, but there are linens, chromes, and a couple of real photo postcards. TITLE: Chrome postcard Biloxi Lighthouse, Biloxi, Mississippi
This chrome postcard of the Biloxi, Mississippi, lighthouse has a 1959 postmark. There is a history of the lighthouse on the back. It was built in 1848. The lens was removed and buried during the War Between the States and returned unharmed after the war. The lighthouse was painted black when Lincoln was assassinated, said to be the only public building in the South to be draped in mourning. Price is $1.00 + $.41 postage, check or money order. TITLE: Postcard Deep Sea Diver Everett Adargo, Catalina Island,
California
This postcard is postally unused. On the front is a picture of Everett Adargo at the top and the boat Phoenix at the bottom. There is a facsimile autograph of Everett across the top of the boat portion of the card. Where the message would be are Adargo's diving record, a list of Kelp and Mosses and another of Fish and Shellfish visible on the lava-like floor of the sea. Apparently the Phoenix was a glass-bottom boat. Price is $.50 + $.41 postage because I have accidentally creased the card while posting it to the web site (crease not in photo). TITLE: Real photo postcard Andy D-Day Bull - SOLD
You have to read the description on this unused real photo postcard to believe it! "Andy D-Day Bull was born on D-Day, June 6, 1944 at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. "He has four horns, four eyes and a double nose and breathes through both noses. "He has two undeveloped eyes, one in the front of his forehead which has eyebrows on both sides and another on top of his head. "He has a double horn coming out of the front of his head, one side black and the other white." Under the photo is marked: Owners Mr. & Mrs. W.A. Rasor, Brookville, Ohio. I have never seen Foilex postcards before. These were printed in West Germany and are unused. One is of Bull Shoals Dam with 10 flood gates open and Bull Shoals Lake noted for its Bass fishing. It is located in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. The other card is of Norfork Dam, Lake Norfork, in the Ozarks of Arkansas and Missouri. In with some postcards I bought was a little box with small, various-sized copies of paintings and one sculpture. Both American and European artists are represented. They are on a glossy paper. Most are by Brown-Robertson Co., Inc. 3 are Artext Prints, and one is by Art Extension Press. There are some duplicates. Along with the pictures, there are 9 study sheets that match some of them. Large poster by Ford Motor Company titled "Trail to Turnpikes--Saga of the American Road". There are 15 different brown and white captioned drawings or prints. The opposite side shows 40 different Ford automobiles through the years and also has a description of the lithographs on the front. Copyright date is 1960. Price is $5.00 + postage. SOLD 2. Mother's Home Life and The Household Guest, newspaper from February, 1939. Condition is rather poor but there are old ads, short stories, poems, recipes, and patterns. Interesting to look at. Price is $1.00 + postage. 3. 62-page booklet "Physical Beauty" from Woman's Library series. Subtitled How to Develop and Preserve it and written by Florence Courtenay. Published by Social Culture Publications and copyright 1922. Interesting table of contents. Price $1.00 + postage. 4. Letter from S. W. Reese & Co., NYC, to Ash & Houk, Carey, Ohio, regarding catalogue. Condition is poor, and year is not shown in date. Also a July 1, 1923 price catalogue (stencils is the product) from the same company (perhaps accompanied the letter, which also reads July). Condition of catalogue is good. Both pieces for $1.50 + postage. 5. One-page, both sides, The Ohio Rainbow Reveille, Official Bugle 166th Infantry, Oberwinter, Germany, January 1, 1919. Published by Chaplain J.J. Halliday, Chaplain Hugh C. Stuntz, Editor, and Latimer F. Struck, Associate. Condition is poor. Price is $.50 + postage. 6. Two items from Liberty High School, Rudolph, Ohio--newspaper The Liberty Spokesman dated April, 1926, and an Honors Day Program from June 7, 1933. Both items are in good condition. Price is $1.00 plus postage. 7. 4 programs. First is a very old one from Keith's Vaudeville Theatre in Philadelphia dated Nov. 30th, 1914. It included a one-act play starring Ethel Barrymore, as well as other acts, movies, and music. Very fragile, one page item with the attractions for the week of Dec. 6 (including Houdini) on the reverse side. Price is $1.00 + postage. SOLD Second is from Radio City Music Hall, show beginning Thursday, November 21, 1946. The movie was "The Jolson Story". Price is $.75 plus postage.
